Why I Don’t Do OnlyFans Anymore

Oh god. Maybe it is stupid to write this article as I am on the precipice of launching a new porn project. By now, you have likely heard about it, Bondage Obsession.

Many have asked me why I don’t just resurrect my old OnlyFans or use that model for content anymore. To put it simply, I didn’t enjoy it that much. When I started my OnlyFans, it was the beginning of the pandemic. I didn’t know what the future would hold, and I was in a scarcity mindset. At that point, I had only been Delphine for 3 years, and I had only been finding success as Delphine for about 2 years.

I focused on hairy content because that is what I had going on. But, I found it disatisfying and objectifying. Many, but not all, of my fans didn’t care about connecting with me or my interests. They just wanted to see hairy pussy. At times, I felt like I could have sent them anyone’s hairy pussy!

The marketing and sales tactics that people have to use to find success on OF also did not resonate with me. No shade to anyone, that is a real and legit hustle that I have a lot of respect for. It just didn’t feel good for me personally.

What I enjoy about all the different forms of sex work I have done is that individual connection. There’s a special spark that ignites from the intentional connection between two people and I just did not feel that on OF. While I love being hairy, and putting out occasional hairy porn videos is absolutely fun, the amount of content that people on OF expected was insane. They want daily posts and 24/7 interactions. Of course, you can recycle content and have assistants for texting, but none of that ever felt like the way for me.

If I ever do hairy porn again, it will be in a different way that feels more authentic for me personally. Sex workers do not have to sell authenticity. But, personally, I get too burned out and drained if what I am doing is not feeling aligned for me.

Telling escorts to “just do Onlyfans” is like telling a podiatrist to “just become a dentist.” It’s a totally different job. Both are completely legitimate, but also completely different.

There are things I find inspiring and fun about making content. The content I’m making with my new project is really just me trying something new and having fun. I hope people will find it and enjoy it along with me! It feels authentic to me and like something I want to share with the world both from a personal and artistic perspective!
