All About Screening with Delphine

Each escort screens differently. Some have more strict methods, others are more lenient. I think I fall somewhere in the middle. I offer several different methods that let me know you are likely a safe person to see. I think the way I screen is very fair and simple!

Why Do Escorts Screen?

Some clients think screening is a tool to make sure they have the money for the session. Others think it’s just a hoop we make them jump through to be annoying.

The truth is, screening is a method of harm reduction for safety. It helps to weed out potentially dangerous people. Remember, we are taking a large risk by going into a private, intimate space with a stranger who is, more times than not, more physically powerful than we are.

It can also help to weed out people who are not serious about booking, and law enforcement.

“What If I Don’t Want to Screen?”

I only see screened clients. I have been doing this for nearly eight years and every single one of my clients has been screened in some fashion. I offer many flexible screening options. If you don’t want to screen because you’re new and don’t want to share personal information, then you may need to take a risk and see a provider who doesn’t screen, and then use them as a reference to see me.

If you don’t want to meet my rather generous screening requirements, then we won’t be able to meet.

Screening is Also Good For Clients

Screening is a privilege that not everyone has because it does cut down on business. Some people may skip out on screening to make sure they have enough money to pay for their basic needs. So this isn’t a blanket statement.

However, in general, an escort who screens is a good sign that she is not a scammer, trying to blackmail you, or LE. It is also a good sign that she cares about her own safety, which may bode well for the quality of a session. Law enforcement is notorious for not screening when they pose as escorts. And, why would a scammer, who is not planning to show up for a session at all, put a barrier in between themselves and the money they could make?

But, What Do You Do With My Info, Delphine?

After screening, information is deleted and forgotten about. I’ve even had it happen where someone has gotten a little offended because they sent me their LinkedIn for screening, and then started to talk about work during the session, and I had already completely forgotten what their job is! The information is truly just for my own screening and safety.

How Long Does Screening Take?

The length of time to plan for screening really depends on you, mostly. If you screen with work information like LinkedIn, or your ID, screening can be very fast.

The next quickest method is screening with online platforms such as PD, P411 or TNA Board. If you have verified reviews or okays, you can send me a message or request me for screening on the platform (so I can verify the profile belongs to you) and I will review your profile.

Depending on the number of okays/verified reviews, who they are with, and your other screening information, I may or may not elect to contact the people you have seen to ask them for a reference for you. So, in some cases screening with a platform can be very quick. In other cases, it can take a while.

Screening with references probably takes the longest. At times it can be very quick if people get back to me right away. But, people are people. We aren’t all just sitting by our phones waiting to get activated by the next client. We have lives. So, it can take us a while to get back to people – even other providers who are asking for a reference. A good reference from a friend of mine is a solid screening method, but if you’re trying to book a session with any degree of urgency, it may not be the best option for you.

The Secret Side of Screening

Seeing how you follow instructions and communicate is part of the screening process. If you’re rude or pushy during this process, even if you ultimately pass screening, I may still elect not to see you. I may fear that people who are rude or push my boundaries in our initial communication may not respect my boundaries in person.

This goes double for incall. If you don’t follow the instructions for screening, I won’t be able to trust that you will be able to follow the instructions to discreetly find and enter my incall space.

Luckily most people I encounter are happy to screen so we can have a delightful time together!

Unconventional Screening Methods

I also offer two other unconventional screening methods: video verification calls and in-person public meetings.

Video verification is a 5-minute (or less) non-sexual clothed call in which you must show me your ID up close to the camera. After the call I will let you know if you have passed verification or not. It is $25 for the call.

In-person verification meetings are available for $300 for 30 minutes. We meet up in a public place of my choosing. You show me your ID in the meeting and we can chat for up to 30 minutes. After the meeting, I will let you know if you have passed screening. Please do not ask me in our meeting if you have passed or not.

Screening: How to Get on My Good Side

Sure, I’ve seen all sorts of clients with all sorts of screening methods over the years. When people are resistant to screening at first but then provide the required info, I may go into a session feeling apprehensive or tense. After all, someone who believes their privacy is more important than my physical safety may not set my mind at ease.

My favorite inquiries are those that include screening information in the first message. In fact, my most favorite inquiries of all time are those that include multiple options for screening information, and a little information about the client. Maybe they’ve included their interests, their field of work, or their reason for seeking me out at this time.

Here’s an example of an A+ Inquiry:

“Hi Delphine,

My name is Bob. I have admired your ad on Tryst for a little while now, and I finally have the opportunity to reach out. I’ll be in the Bay Area next week from 3/26-3/29 an I’d love to meet for 2 hours in the evening on either 3/27 or 3/28.

For screening, here is my phone number: xxx-xxx-xxxx. Here is my LinkedIn page: linkedin.com/xxxxxx. I have also seen your friend Gemma Paradise (gemmaparadise.com/gemmaparadise@protonmail.com) here in New York. She has said she would be a reference for me if you want to ask her!

A little about me: I work in tech, I love making model planes, and I have a very adorable dog, Lucy. I love that you also enjoy science fiction! My favorite latest sci-fi read is The Three Body Problem by Cixin Liu. I’m looking forward to chatting with you about it and seeing you during my trip. I hope to hear from you soon.

Best,

Bob”

Here’s an example of a great inquiry via text:

“Hi Delphine, my name is Bob, I saw you on Tryst. I’m in SF this week and I’d love to meet while I’m in town. For screening I can provide my LinkedIn and/or a reference. Hope to hear from you soon!”
